POLITICS AND IMAGINATION: Imagine yourself in “the room where it happens.” This was precisely the desire that Alexander Hamilton expressed in Act Two of the musical Hamilton. This course is about imagining yourself in the places and spaces where politics “happens.” We will confront some of the most serious issues that challenge people in our world. Through a variety of activities, including reading course texts, viewing films, and participating in debate and discussions, we will do what Aristotle believed was the most essential element of human social relationships– think politically.
