Animals in London offers a unique opportunity to explore the intricate relationships between humans and animals in urban settings. This interdisciplinary course examines the historical and cultural roles of animals in London through readings, discussions, and hands-on fieldwork. The experience culminates in a three-week immersive program, with daily excursions to landmarks such as the Natural History Museum and London Zoo. Additionally, students will participate in a short independent travel component to investigate animal-related themes in another European city, fostering cross-cultural understanding and research skills.
